Ways to Practice a Sight Word:
Tape the word to your bedroom door. Every time you pass you need to say and spell the word. Play a game like Candyland. Each time it is your child's turn, they need to read a sight word first. Spray shaving cream on a cookie sheet. Write the word in shaving cream. Type the word on the computer. Use different fonts! Write your word with sidewalk chalk. |
